I'm an MSIS student in the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin.
I have a BA and MA in English and have previously contributed to The End of Austin Project through the Department of American Studies; I also have a food blog, Stella Cooks, and a graffiti blog, Conspicuous Blankness; I'm the founder, editor, and web master of the Austin-based Feminist Justice League site; and I'm a graduate research assistant at the Harry Ransom Center through spring 2015. I am interested in writing my thesis on digital humanities as applied to the HRC collections.
I’m also a sixth-generation Texan, and my other interests include digital archives, digital democracy, Texas and American history, the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and finding the perfect cheese enchilada plate.
